Once you've completed your breast cancer treatment, you may wonder why you need to keep getting a yearly mammogram. In fact, even after breast cancer, mammograms give your doctor vital information. They are among your doctor's most important tools.

Regardless of breast cancer, the American Cancer Society wants all women age 40 or older to have a mammogram every year. The more you know about mammograms, the easier it is to see why doctors keep recommending them.

AROMASIN® (exemestane tablets) is a prescription medicine for the adjuvant treatment of postmenopausal women with estrogen-receptor positive early breast cancer. Treatment with AROMASIN should begin after 2 to 3 years of tamoxifen, at which time tamoxifen should be discontinued. Treatment with AROMASIN should continue for 2 to 3 years (until the completion of a total of 5 years of adjuvant treatment with tamoxifen and AROMASIN).
